Malibu Forest DIY Wedding: Stunning Details & Handmade Magic

Bridesmaids in floral robes

Carly and Alex said "I do" in the Malibu forest at the lovely Malibu Phoenix venue. Almost every single detail of their day was DIY. A bridesmaid made their cakes, the bride designed her own dress, mismatched ivory bridesmaid dresses were all unique and vintage, and the bride made all her reception details. These two love nature, family, and each other, and their day was an absolute reflection of that.
There's so much love bursting from the seams of this Malibu forest DIY wedding that we couldn't fit it all in! See every darling detail in the full gallery here, beautifully captured by Intuitive Images Photography.

The bride DIY'ed her heart out for her wedding. From the sweetheart table to the S'mores station; the flowers were also by the bride. She went to the downtown flower district the day before her wedding and chose from what was in season.
