From Green Blossom Photography: Annie and Marshall chose to get married on the top of Granby mountain because it represented their love for the outdoors while honoring Annie's home state of Colorado. Self-described spontaneous, fun, and honest, Annie and Marshall wanted their wedding to reflect that. From the lawn games during cocktail hour to the game board piece escort cards, Annie and Marshall found a way to bring the fun and whimsy to their day.
One of my favorite parts of the day was the time they took before the ceremony to be together and take it all in. They had a beautiful first look at the top of Granby mountain then wandered through the aspens before their guest arrived. Annie chose shades of coral and pink for her bridesmaids dresses which was a perfect pair to the green of the summer aspens.
Wait Whaaaaaat!? Annie and Marshall had a ski lift transport them and their guests to their reception location? Now that is truly taking your guests to new heights! We love this genius use of the ski resort elements even at a summer wedding. What are your transportation plans for your wedding day?
