Will You Be My...
From Angela Marie Events: We absolutely adore Ken and Paydan! When they asked us to coordinate their backyard Fiesta engagement party, we knew it would be an event to remember! No details were left out and everything was coordinated perfectly. From the couples attire to drinks, foods and favors, to custom "Will you be my Bridesmaids Cookies" and "Are you Yeti to be my groomsmen" cups. This night was unforgettable!
Let's Talk Color & The Ring
From the Bride-to-be: Location + Venue Details: Our “Fiesta” themed engagement party was located at our private residence on Moss Side in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Inspiration Behind the Day? COLOR!!! Since our style is more white and contemporary, we wanted something totally opposite of that. Nothing says celebration more than a colorful fiesta, tequila, and tacos! Click to read more about how Ken popped the question!
Personal Story About the Couple: Ken, a general dentist, and I, met in February of 2012 after passing my interview for the office manager position for his practice with flying colors! We currently still work together, believe it or not. The following year after frequent Starbucks dates and walks in the park, we took a huge leap and became official by moving in together. Ken then proposed to me 2 years later on Christmas Day in front of our entire family! Not only did he propose with a ROCK, but he also had handwritten notes for me from his 2 children whom I love dearly. Did I mention we were all in Christmas pajamas? LOL! The rest is history!
Don't forget to eat
Music Choices: Our DJ played a little bit of everything since there were family and friends of all ages that attended. Advice for Brides Planning Now? Make the most of what you’re given, even if your venue receives 10-12 inches of rain that week, and you’re left with a slew of mud! Remember to live in the moment and breathe while doing so.
Another thing, EAT-EAT-EAT because we didn’t. Most importantly, go big or go home…and to do that, HIRE A COORDINATOR! Angela did the most amazing job ever!
