A Perfectly Refreshing Lemonade Recipe
In our opinion, nothing is more refreshing than sparkling water and mint! That is why we love this Minted Sparkling Lemonade from The Yummy Bits.
You will need: 1 cup water, 1 cup sugar, 1 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice, 3 cups sparkling water, 2 sprig fresh mint-stem removed, ice.
Combine water and sugar over low heat until the sugar dissolves completely. Remove from heat and cool completely. After the mixture has cooled, stir in the lemon juice. Divide the mint sprigs among four glasses, and fill with ice. Fill half of each glass with the lemon-sugar mixture, then top off with sparkling water. Stir to muddle mint, then drink! Serves 4
