Although the weather is not as lovely outside now, before we know it spring will be here. To remind us of the up and coming season and fill us with some serious spring time wedding inspiration, we have Brandon and Renee's vintage garden shabby chic wedding.
An incredibly lovely day filled with so many unique and eye-catching details, especially the paper goods. All designed by thebride herself, who also happens to be a wedding stationery designer. Read on to hear all about Brandon and Renee's memorable day and see more gorgeous photos by Rachael Nicole Photography in the full gallery here.
From The Bride-When Brandon and I first started planning our wedding, we weren't exactly sure which direction we wanted to go in. We spent hours poring through different venue options. Nothing really seemed to click until my mom showed us the website for The Lange Farm. Just from the pictures, we knew that was where we wanted to get married. From the ceremony site with the beautiful oak trees, to the garden house reception area with the stunning chandelier -- it was perfect! Luckily they were still available for our special date (we got married on our 5th anniversary).
From there, everything slowly fell in to place. I've always adored vintage-garden-shabby chic weddings so we decided to go in that direction. Brandon was the best groom-to-be -- he didn't even wince when I casually mentioned coral being part of our color palette! :) As a graphic designer, I couldn't help but fill our wedding with DIY projects -- I had a blast designing the paper products and little details for our special day.
My parents were a huge part in helping us make everything happen -- we truly could not have done it without them. My mom kept me on track throughout the entire planning process - I would have gone a little crazy without her.
Amongst many things he collected all the beautiful vintage plates we used at each place setting, made the lace table runners, and hunted down the vintage hutch we used as our dessert table (a $50 find!). My dad made the table numbers and built us the amazing fireplace mantle. It turned out to be one of our favorite details from the wedding and is now part of our everyday home decor!
We always love with our Free Printable are used at wedding, especially when they look this look good. If you want to make a similar sign you can visit here and print yours out by clicking here.
Be sure to check out the entire wedding film by In Motion Video Productions, we love that we can see the entire day as it happens.
