Industrial Chic Pantone Inspired Wedding Ideas
January saw the unveiling of a unique Pantone color of the year as it was a color combo, Rose Quartz & Serenity. This has sparked some fascinating styled shoots; and among them is Ever After Planning and Rachael Osborn Photography's beautiful industrial chic Pantone inspired wedding ideas!
Pairing the feminine with the masculine at the Warehouse 109, gives this shoot a very sophisticated edge we cannot get enough of. Keep scrolling to see more, and be sure to see every last detail in the full gallery too.
Pantone Colors & The Perfect Dress
From Ever After Planning: We wanted to do a bolder twist on the Pantone colors of the year, so in addition to the rose gold (which we incorporated even in the bridal gown by going with a non-traditional color instead of white!) we used a deep peacock blue paired with subtle hints of the softer blue. I think the deeper peacock gives it a sophistication and edge! The dress is by Justin Alexander c/o Savy's Chic Bridal in Dixon, Illinois and was the ultimate princess gown for a bride who doesn't want to wear the traditional white dress.
Feminine Sophistication + No-Frills Masculinity
The style inspiration came from the couple - we wanted something that paired a classy, uptown feminine sophistication and glamour with a casual, no-frills kind of masculinity. We pictured our bride as a modern Kate Spade-loving princess, and our groom as a motorcycle-loving, casual guy. What better place for them to marry both each other and their styles than the amazing new venue, Warehouse 109?!!! It really is a marriage of modern style and edgy grunge. Class it up with some amazing details provided by Ever After Planning, and you have a marriage made in style heaven.
Pretty Paper & DIY Cocktails
The invitations were hand-watercolored by Emily Rose Ink to incorporate the color palate. We also included DIY his and her cocktails (recipe cards included) that matched the color scheme and incorporated a sweet, whimsical twist in using candy garnishes.
Talk Cake To Me
The flowers, cake, and favors were made by Pollen & Pastry. The cake was a bold twist on the watercolor trend with just a touch of gold leafing for added glam. Favors were deep peacock and gold macaroons and white-chocolate dipped oreos (because NO ONE can resist those) in a pretty favor box, with a watercolor and calligraphy thank you note on each one.
