Rustic Venue

The style and history of the Mill made it the perfect spot for our day. It has just the right rustic elegance that spoke to both of our personalities. Our ceremony was outside just before sunset & the reception was inside to keep our guests warm from a brisk November night.

thoughtful diy details

Over the course of a year, I was able to plan every detail of this day. The decor, flowers, cakes, playlist, and even my dress alterations were done by me, my mom & bridesmaids. I hand wrote all of the signage, created the "love" marquee sign, and collected and arranged all of the centerpieces. However, I'm most proud of the wagon wheel mason jar chandelier I crafted. It was the perfect touch for our ceremony spot.

consider hiring a videographer

We so recommend hiring a videographer, we were fortunate enough to have one in the family! My uncle was able to capture all of the little moments that we missed or had forgotten about in the excitement and chaos of the day. I hadn't given much thought to a wedding video, but it has been so wonderful to be able to relive our day!
