With a breezy beach color palette of teal, blue, and white this fabulous Fiesta wedding in Mexico is a complete show stopper. We love the gorgeous table setups and all of the cute little details that make the whole event pop! Matthew and I were both born and raised by the ocean in San Diego. We wanted a destination wedding that would allow for a beach ceremony without too much traveling for our guests. We loved the area of Los Cabos because it was just far enough from the craziness of Cabo San Lucas and felt more like a retreat. Both Villa Vista Ballena and the Hilton Los Cabos were incredibly private and offered a very romantic atmosphere.
Such fun ideas! We love the snapshot escort cards above that makes it a cinch for all your guests to find their face, plus the clever table numbers written in Spanish. When in Rome, or in Matthew and Lauren's case, Mexico! And what better way to set the mood for the reception then to give each of your guests their own maraca! We love it.
My advice for future brides would be to enjoy the ride. It seems so cliche but such an important thing to remember. There are exciting times (and not so exciting times) but the stress and craziness will be worth it. On a similar note, if any brides are thinking about making a scrapbook afterwards, keep everything! I kept plane tickets, tags from my dress, all invitations and much more. It personalized my scrapbook and makes it very fun to relive the experience.
We don't blame you for wanting to see this wedding in action! Head over here to see Matthew and Lauren's gorgeous video by Carlos Plazola.
