Classic Greek Island Wedding: Kea’s Dreamy Seaside Ceremony
Mamma Mia, here we go again! My my, this wedding is a must see! With sparkling blue water and gorgeous sea side cliffs, who can say no to a dreamy destination wedding in Greece? We sure can't! So sit back and take a five minute vacation with us as we show you the fabulously classic Greek island wedding of Matt and Ioanna.

From White Ribbon Boutique Events:Ioanna and Matt met a few years ago in London where they both worked. Ioanna is Greek and Matt is English so a few years later they decided to get married in the beautiful Cycladic Island of Kea in Greece in late June. The island is dear to the heart of the bride who has been visiting there for many years.
When creating the decor concept for this wedding with the bride, we were inspired by the beautiful natural surroundings and infused this with accents from traditional Greek culture and lifestyle. We used simple but beautiful locally grown flowers in white and yellow, along with materials and decorative accents that were typically used in old traditional Greek households.
The ceremony was held in an idyllic tiny white chapel on top of a steep hill overlooking the Aegean Sea under the golden afternoon sun. The bride was escorted up the hill to the chapel by her father and some traditional music instruments. Following the ceremony, the couple and their close friends and family all gathered by the sea for the reception with lots of Greek traditional food and dancing.
