From the Bride:Our wedding was a true labor of LOVE! We are blessed to have such talented family who were all so willing to help and create what was truly the best day ever!!One of the bride's aunts created beautiful flower arrangements using flowers from her own garden while another aunt, Sheri McCulley Studio, designed the amazing cut out invitations. Everyone in Megan's family helped with decorating the venue.Megan and Elijah were married outdoors at sunset surrounded by a small group of family and close friends. The ceremony was small and cozy with their guests sitting on benches draped in colorful quilts. As the newlyweds walked back down the aisle they were showered in rainbow sprinkles — a truly spectacular exit.
Streamers and white twinkle lights swayed in the breeze at Megan and Elijah's picnic-themed reception. More colorful quilts were used to cover the tables, each decorated with a single mason jar filled with wildflowers and some small votive candles.
Each guest received a jar of homemade jam crafted by the bride's cousin for their wedding favor. While Megan and Elijah did have a wedding cake, but kept it small with a cute vintage cake topper. The main dessert attraction was the table full of pies in every flavor from The Ridge Antique Cafe. Each pie sat on a log cross-section and was labeled with it's flavor — so cute!
