Micheal and Shannon are band mates in Micheal Mains and The Branches, a four-piece indie rock band from Gainesville, Texas. While they were making music they fell in love and this is their wedding day love story. A vintage diy backyard wedding at Shannon's family home.
The ceremony was set in the backyard, next to vintage Airstream campers and evergreen trees, with a reception tent close by that was filled with giant purple poms, loom table numbers and vintage sodas. Shanon's bridesmaids wore mismatched purple dresses with matching baby's breath bouquets. We always recommend having a least one thing in common among your bridal party, whether it be shoes, hair piece, or their wedding bouquet.

One touch that we simply loved from Shannon and  Micheal's backyard wedding was their vintage Airstream. Not only did it serve as an excellent photo prop, but it also doubled as a drink station. Guest were served beverages by a barista out of the classic travel trailer.
