From The Groom:
So we wanted a venue that wasn't a "wedding factory." We scoured the internet looking for places all over Connecticut. We had made a list of venues to tour one Saturday. When we got up that morning, Ashley didn't want to visit the Stamford Museum and Nature Center because she thought it was too far for our guests to travel to, but I insisted saying "Who knows, you might love it." The second we walked in, our minds were made up. It had a ton of charm and Ashley was looking for a place with twinkly lights. Ashley, being an animal lover, immediately fell in love with the farm and animals. From there, we went through several different themes ranging from Carnival to Woodland Creatures, but finally we decided on birds. So Ashley worked tirelessly on many of the decorations around the wedding.
